Our optional Tracksetter attaches to the rear of the Trail Tenderizer and allows you to set classic tracks when and where you want them. The Tracksetter is lifted in and out of the snow with a hand operated lift lever on the front of the Trail Tenderizer, or may be operated on the fly from the snowmobile with an optional electric winch.

The Tracksetter utilizes extremely durable, non-stick molded urethane track shoes to form precise slant wall tracks. Steel track cutters slice the track shape in hardpack conditions. A steel cage will securely hold up to two concrete blocks that can provide extra weight for difficult conditions. The track shoes may be adjusted to a narrow width (5.5”) for setting kid’s tracks.

One Tracksetter is used behind a four-foot Trail Tenderizer to set the perfect four-foot wide single classic trail with plenty of pole plant space. Up to two Tracksetters (each with an independent lift lever) may be used behind a six-foot unit to set a double classic trail with plenty of space for passing and side-by-side skiing. Attachment points for Tracksetters are located every ten inches across the rear of any Trail Tenderizer, allowing for flexible track location. This is especially useful for combination skate/classic trails.
